Default Most Rediculous Spacers I Have Ever Seen!

I somehow ended up looking at videos of replica ferarris on you tube. These are the spacers that are given to the customer to space out the wheel on the donor car ( a Toyota MR2) so it fits with the ferarri kit. It definitely puts so much strain on the wheel bearings.

and here is the link for the video. It comes up at 1:49

Im still conflicted on whether or not I would drive it..I would figure as a car enthusiast you would want the real thing...meh I dont know.

You know it will never sound like a ferarri, and deep inside i would always feel shitty. If i ever did a kit ar it would be the ddr with a ls7 in it. It comes with a full tubular chassis and body parts. the kit is like 35,000 and you get a super car pretty much.Check it out.

Would running wider wheels have put less strain on the wheel bearings than these huge spacers ? Or is it the same.

wider wheels would put "width" back behind the hub plane and would not cause any issue! thats why its good to get good offset wheels with wider foot print to help that! but its all relevent...i mean, it takes a while to any abuse to be even remotely noticeable....

ball joints, etc....easily replaceable years and i mean years of driving around with spacers if at all !!!

When you go to the dmv you can register it as a kit car i believe. They assign you a vin and do some paper work, its really not hard. Here are the rules in NY
