So Coddington Jr is making his own wheels now? Or is his dad still making his wheels for him? Also, www.billetwheel.com is the regular coddington site and he already has the puffy wheels on there..... Im just asking who is actually manufacturing the wheels. I have asked like 4 times and not gotten an actual answer yet. Are you guys politicians?

I thought I answered pretty clearly, but...

Boyd Coddington Sr is making the Boyd Coddington wheels at billetwheel.com

Boyd Coddington Jr is making the new BC Forged wheels with his own crew.

I am definitly not a politician by any means.

Default BC Forged

BC Forged is solely owned by Boyd Coddington Jr. under the parent name of Coddington Enterprises Inc. and yes, they are manufactured at the Boyd Coddington facility under the supervision of Boyd Coddington Jr.

Boyd Coddington Jr. also owns 40% of Boyd Coddington Wheels. He has been involved in the manufacturing of 2-piece forged wheels for more than 15 years.

Have we manufactured any wheels as of yet? my answer to that question would have to be, including the BC Forged Line.......... yes........ Thousands.

Thanks again.......

I like some of the designs a lot, but I cant help but notice a strong resemblance to a few iForged, DTM, and HRE designs. I also remember a while back in an Audi forum, a brand of wheel that was released called Angstrom wheels. Your wheels look A LOT like angstrom wheels

OK, I found the pictures I was looking for. This was about 6 months ago that I heard of Angstrom. Here are the pics:

I notice a strong similarity. Is there a coincidence?

Angstrom wheels an individual that has never been in the wheel business and is not a manufacture by any means. He is an avid Audi enthusiast and A3 owner who belongs to many Audi and other forums.

He approached Boyd Coddington when we were in the R&D stages of BC Forged Alloys and basically wanted to purchase these wheels and put his own label (Angstrom) on the wheels, a buying group of sort. As it turns out, he was not able to come up with the buy in required but is still out there pushing his name in all the forums. The wheels you see are actually BC Forged Wheels that he took pictures of probably 6-months ago with no cap on them.

Question

Got any pictures of the BC06 with a satin finish/polished lip?

Can't wait to actually see these wheels on some Z's.

Default BC06

I don't have any picture of that particular combination. However, a member of my 350Z purchased that exact combination yesterday and promised he would have the pics posted as soon as he receives the wheels.

Keep checking back.

Default Time frame for wheels

I'm shipping wheels right at 4-weeks. Unless, you have a brake package that requires the larger caliper clearance then, were at 5-6 weeks.

I dont know much about this stuff, but if its just a larger forging, then why does it take 2 extra weeks? You would think its the same since its just a different forging.

As a fairly longtime Z owner and poster @ My350Z.com, I am pleased to report to you that in my dealings with Todd @ Discount, I have been more than pleased. He has shot fair with those others that I have spoken to as well.
In your short history of (12) posts you have repeatedly backed him against the wall with accusatory language and surmises that border on thoughts from a competitor perhaps? Todd and the rep from BC have been pretty cool thruout your unwarranted grilling on this forum. Why the tude? Not needed in my estimation until and only if Todd should ever stiff you, then come off with an attitude if need be. Meanwhile, kudos to Todd and the BC rep.
Random, relax, lighten up and try to see something positive in a product being offered by a legitimate company to a specialized group of potential buyers. Nothing more, nothing less.... Regards, Jim

What other center caps do you guys offer? How much is the price for a fully polished wheel than just a polished lip and a painted face? Could I buy BC wheels through my local Discount Tire here in Houston? Thanks!

Mike

I think the people who are questioning the relationship between BC and Angstrom should check this out

http://forums.audiworld.com/a4/msgs/1714357.phtml

I love the wheels, the designs are sweet, and the finish looks great. But I do remember Boyd going out of business a few years ago and I think they had to change their corporation name or something. Stuff like what was posted on the Audiworld board, plus the past reputation, makes me wonder. What do they mean they are not using the right forgings?
