Is the anodized center clearcoated after the anodizing? I know anodized aluminum scratches easily.

These wheels have really peaked my interest. Looking forward to finally seeing them on some Z's.

Thumbs up

Joe,

Let me know if you are going to buy BC forged wheels. I have a hookup at Discount Tire in Humble.

you'll need to tell me what size wheels, tire brand preference, and possibly tire size preference if you want a quote. Email me

I have a question......on the colored centers, is the whole wheel clearcoated, or just the center?

Ummmm.....it wont look right tho because the clearcoat will blister when they are welded. The only way they could do that is if the whole lip is masked beforehand which would be a huuuuuge pain and wouldnt get in the gaps. Are the same guys that do iForged and HRE and FIKSE doing the BC wheels?

The Mininium back spaceing, is it 4.0cm? or 40mm?

If so, how come the mininim back spaceing is so large.

I think volk, or at least the veilside rims I am using have a mininium back spaceing of 24mm, that is their low disk version.

I just want to know if I am reading this right. Assuming that some of us who don't have a large brake upgrade and would love to get as much lip as possible.

I am interested in the wheel for my other car.

I think it wrong above. 3"+ lips are available. We've already made a 10" with +20 off.

I guess I should post the question this way then.

How much of a lip I can get out of the BC wheels giving the following size and offset.

19x9 +45mm, again, this is not for a Z, but I like the style. It depends on how much of a lip can you get out of this wheel to make it worthwhile. If I can't get much of a lip out of this spec, then it isn't worthwhile for me to go with a 3pc wheel, and I would just go with a 1pc flush wheel.

This is the style I want.
