Default BC Forged

You can take the word of a 19 year old kid that has never manufactured a wheel in his life or, the word of a company that has been manufacturing forged wheels for more than 25 years and in fact, has been manufacturing wheels for the European, luxury car, truck, SUV's and hot rods longer than HRE, IForged, Kenises or any other forged wheel company in business today. As far as the wrong forgings........refer to the first sentence of this post.

With that said, I would much rather discuss technical or general questions about the BC wheel line. I don't feel as if I need to defend my companies reputation. If a company of Discount Tire's reputation is willing to carry and promote the BC Forged wheel line as well as the Boyd Coddington wheel line for that matter, I need not say more.

Default Let's try this one more time...

What other center caps do you guys offer? How much is the price for a fully polished wheel than just a polished lip and a painted face? Could I buy BC wheels through my local Discount Tire here in Houston? Thanks!

Default BC Forged

We also offer a plain center cap only. We can do any combination of polish you wish.

Your best bet to order would be to contact Todd at Discount Tire Direct.

Thanks..........

HRE adds you to the "r" series. Example 545, or 545R
Just to clarify, this is not the case with HRE Performance Wheels.

While some of the larger 15" 8-piston Porsche brake applications do require a 19" reverse set-up, the bowed-spoke profile of the 540 series (non-reverse style) wheels allow us to manufacture these wheels for surprisingly large brake packages.

In fact, HRE has been building the 540 "non-reverse" wheels for big brake kits for customer such as Mallett Cars, Lingenfelter, Hennessey, Panoz, and many others for several years.

90% of the time, the customer chooses the 540R series for aesthetics, not for technical reasons. The 540R (and other "R" HRE wheels) were developed in response to customer request.

I must be blind or something, but I could swear that those wheels have two completely different finishes.

A polished wheel and a machined wheel (satin) that are identical in structure, can look completely different depending on the finish.

Now, could someone please do me a favor and photoshop the original wheel I had requested and remove the rivets.....the one with the satin finish, not polished....thanks a lot.

These wheels don't actually have rivets. They're dimples
