What is the final price on these? (not retail, what they're actually gonna sell for).

5,6, and 7 are pretty nice, but considering they are Boyd Coddington products, they should be signifigantly less than the iForged or HRE's.

The prices above are the price.

They are significantly less than HRE...and iForged.

If there is enough "solid" interest in these wheels I can attempt to produce a 350Z group buy.

I would think there would be if you can get the price down about 10% per wheel.

I'd be interested in a Group buy for 'rim and tire' packages.

Why is it 225 dollars extra for big brakes? Shouldnt that be included in the price? HRE and iForged dont charge extra. Another question I have is who is making BCForged's wheels?

Default Additional Charge For Big Brakes

The reason we need to charge an additional price for big brakes is because we utilize a larger center forging to clear the brakes.

Bigger forging+more material= additional cost.

It's not every case that a bigger brake system needs the extra caliper clearance, it also depends on the brand and the actual size of the brake. When inquiring about purchasing BC Wheels and you have a bigger brake system on your car, be sure to let Discount Tire know what type of brakes you are running. In most cases, we have the templates for all the aftermarket brake systems out there and we can cross match your brake system with the forging we need to use.

In some cases, you will see other wheels companies that use spacers that attach to the wheel in order to clear the calipers. In reality this is easy to to, but not the right way to do it. I prefer to do it the right way and add additional material to the forging. In the long run the customer is happier and I am happier because BC Forged Alloys prides themselfs on a 0% tollerance for returns and unhappy customers.

Thanks for your interest.

Thanks for the response. As far as my other question goes, who makes the BCForged wheels? Are they made at the Boyd Coddington factory?

To add...

HRE, Fikse, etc...do charge a premium for vehicles with large brake systems. HRE adds you to the "r" series. Example 545, or 545R. Fikse does it as well, but the name evades me right now.

BC Forged is Boyd Coddington Jr. He has seperated himself from Boyd Coddington Wheels to bring this new and exciting line to enthusiast such as ourself. Im sure that answers the question of have they made any wheels.

As far as this new line goes...yes. There are a few sets out on the market, including the ones on my bosses Corvette. There is another member of this board who has a set on order ( I was told to keep his name secret for now ) and I will have them on my car shortly as well.

BC Forged has also been courted to be the wheel manufacturer for the limited edition Lincoln Navigator designed by Hip-Hop store Sean Combs. They have agreed and already made multiple wheels for this application.

Discount Tire Direct has a standing order of BC10s in fitments for the 350Z, G35, Mustang, and Corvette inbound to us in a couple of weeks.
