Yep, square be Ok. Lotsa discussion about what's better - staggered or square - on the forum if you're interested.

There's only one word for those offsets though:

Wait for it....

Obviously the "Previous Owner" was not a member of my350z.com or he would not have decided to mount chrome wheels with such excessive offset. These wheels are so tucked-in they look even worse than my winter tire setup.

The tires are 245/45-18". ...so far so good... since you have an all-square setup the will run on any Z (even one with VDC).

The problem is the awful offset on the wheels (not to mention they are chrome ). But, some people like chrome, so that may not be an issue for you either (depending upon your preference).

If you can live with the chrome wheels, I suppose you could mount spacers to get these out-more towards the fenders' edges where they look decent. An even better option is new wheels with the correct offset.

If the tires are good and you like them, keep 'em (245/45-18" is the correct size for an "all-square" setup).

If you "change the rims" (I assume "rims" means "wheels") just buy wheels with the correct offset and avoid the extra cost and hassle of installing spacers.

If you keep the same wheels, you will certainly need spacers. That will work and it's a solution. But, the wheels should be at least 18x8".

It's a love or hate thing. There is nothing wrong with a square setup. I like both kinds.
