Default Do i have wheel spacers?

LOL yes a random question maybe, but basically i bought the car from Japan 18 months ago and i have just fitted some new Volks racing SF- Challenge 19" - 10.5" +18 rear and 9.5" +18 front with and i had it on good authority from Adam at Z1 and also others who have these tyre sizes that 285/30-19 rear and 265/30- 19 T1R's should fit fine with no rubbing, well, as i went to drive into my drive way with my new shoes, got MAJOR rubbing on the rear. Damn! So i couldnt even get into my owv driveway Its at a friends house until i can figure out what to do

Basically judging by these pics, do i have spacers? I have not seen anyone elses hubs, and never known any different so put me out of my misery Also, if so, how am i gonna get them off? They look kinda hard to remove! I have these spacer looking things on all 4 wheel hubs! and i just noticed some brand writing on one of the pics so i am thinking i do

Much appreicated

Jamie

as far as getting them off, you may need to try a shop because they use some kind of tool that has a 4 small hole key...

Yep, Project Kics, and you will need the 4-prong key to get them off. you could probably pay someone a deposit to send theirs to you and refund you a difference when you send it back if no one around you has those spacers.

edit: just saw you are in the UK. A shop should have something that can get those off. The tool from PK is a socket with 4 nubs on the end, like in this pic:

yup, they look like 10 or 15mm kics project spacers. I had them and they need that little 4 ponged key to unmount them.

at least it looks like you the studs weren't grinded down to be even with the spacer, or else you'd have to get new studs to mount your rims.

good luck for finding the adapter for the nut!

Latest Update: -

Managed to get the REAR spacers off!!! It appears that the rear spacers weird nuts have been replaced with normal nuts so i was able to remove them. Tyres are fine now, no rubbing and i have managed to get back into my drive!

Ordering a proper tool so i can remove the fronts in time, at least i can drive it though now.

I tried experimenting with an allen key cut into bits, an oversized socket, and some metal epoxy . . . . use you imagination, anyway, it didnt work that well so proper tool is the way forward for the front

thanks to all that have helped, its what this forum is all about!

car looks amazing, pics to follow in another thread
