need you guys opinion i have another set of volks that i want to use it the issue is the front the size is 8.5 offset +26 what size of spacer have to use to become offset +22? with no issue or rubbing on the fender, i was thinking project kics 5mm, 10mm or 15mm? or what brand you guys recommended with studs attached?

If you want it flush use a 15mm spacer, or a 10mm. there is near no point using a spacer less the 5mm, its hardly even noticeable. Since H&R doesnt make a 10mm spacer use Eibach for that size or H&R for 15mm. Both are quality hubcentric spacers that are TUV approved (strict Euro QC) rated and Made in Germany. These require you to install longer hub bolts which are included.

what about project kics 10mm or 15mm? is it eibach better that project kics?

If you want my personal opinion on this, I prefer H&R or Eibach spacers over Project Kics because it is a hubcentric design. Project Kics setups are not hubcentric, also i think you will have some fitment problems because Project kics ones have the oem stud sticking out over the wheel mounting surface, and not all wheels have open faced backside for the lug stud to go into.

thanks eddie ok, is eibach spacer is stud attached right? and made in germany, Hubcentric ring for volks will work to eibach spacer hubcentric?

No, the spacers under 20mm has to have the studs pulled through, its easy though. This is because typically spacers under 20mm have the stock studs still protruding out.

Ganna have to give an honerable mention to Ichiba spacers, they are just as good as the others, but they have what appears to be zinc coated studs and resist corrosion better than the eibach ones.

Eibach spacers are the best imo. They're hubcentric, and come with studs pre-built already. Win-win. I have 15mm spacers in the rear.

That's a generic picture of a 25mm one with studs attached. The 10mm do not have studs on the spacers, its the OEM replacement type.

I believe you are asking about front tires. In that case you do not need to worry about "fender rubbing." Since front wheels turn, the car's design obviously must provide clearance that is independent of your wheels' offsets.

For the front, choose an offset that looks good, and don't worry about fender-rubbing. Your main concern would be rubbing suspension components.

The important point to consider is that excessive offset may put your tires outside the fenders enough so that you "sand-blast" the side of your Z with road debris.

^^ I agree. Why not just buy a wheel with the correct offset?

I realize that someone may want that "special" wheel that doesn't come with the correct offset, but I say forget her and move on.

because some wheels IE: CCW only come with one hub plate and spacers are required to get them to fit properly. Nothing wrong with them, theres a good few race teams that run spacers at the pro level.
