Default 2006 350z Grand Touring tires

It's a stupid post, but oh wells.

Ok. I'm really clueless when it comes down to tires.

My tires are almost going bald and I need to replace all four of them.

Grandtouring has 18"s in the front and 19"s in rear - Ray's Forged wheels (concave wheels). I'm too lazy to look up the offset and all them numbers that I have no clue about..

What size tires do I need to get ? * please don't be a smart *** and say two 18' tires and two 19' tires. which I'm fully aware of.*

I'm talking about the thickness.. 245, 235, 205 .. you know those numbers. I'm not sure what they are really. or should I just go with the same size ones I have on now?

I'm lowered on eibach pro kit springs and it's about 1" drop.

No Prob and i think your best bet is to go with a 275/35/19 tires to be safe.. Hopefully more will chime in here ..

Another Question though.. What are the "spacers" for? This kid asked me if I'm going to get spacers since my car is dropped. ??

Spacers are a waste off fcking time.. IT brings the wheel out to give you a more flushed look.. I considered doing spacers with my OEM 18's because i have the nismo body kit and it looked like **** will only 18 back there.

Luckily i got a great deal on 08 nismo wheels and did'nt have to worry.
Considering you have that 10 inch Rears wheels there.
285 rears will be perfect.i luv the way mine looks. I wish i could help you there but im not sure if that will rub with that drop

Ahh I see I see. I won't be needing the spacers. Thanks for your help. I think i will be going with
F 255/40/18
R 275/35/19 .. and MAYBE think about 285 and do some more research on them.

You should run 255/40/18 just like everybody else is saying in the thread. But because your offsets are rather mild on a 10 inch rim (+30), you should be able to run 285s with no problem, and possibly even 295.

I have a 19x10.5 rim +23 on 275/35/19, and I still have plent of room left to go. I might run 285 for my next tires, so if you wanted, I'm sure you could get a 295 tire to fit. By the way, I'm lowered on gf210s, which are lower than the eibachs that you have, and no rubbin issues at all.

Hope this helps! Good luck bro

From what I've observed, the folks on here can give you some GREAT advise regarding what direction to go for your tires and/or wheels for the Grand Touring. Something that you might want to play with for yourself to answer your question is the tech guide from www.1010tires.com.

I used it to select the exact right size for my ride, 245/35-19 and 285/30-19 then knew if I had the finders rolled I could go to the size of 255/35-19 and 305/30-19.

Check it out!
