Amen to that! And if you mess one up you can buy another with spare change. I used the money I saved on the wheels to buy tires that are sticky enough that let me pass most people with lighter wheels. Corner speed FTW.

you know i did the same thing or so i thought but im not at all impressed with the tires i bought falken fk 452's
my nitto's seemed to stick better even though they were much smaller?

i know/heared R compound tires go through heat cycles or something like that when they are knew before they are tracked maybe because they are brand new they just are not as sticky

Whose advice did you take for your tire purchase?

The car looks awesome Matt! Hyper Black goes very well on red

The Falken FK452's are great performance tires for a daily driven car, they aren't R compounds or track tires though so you can't expect them to offer the same dry grip. They do have nice dry grip and they also handle very well in wet conditions. For a daily driven car with performance in mind I do recommend these tires and our customers have all been very happy with them. Tires do need to be "broken" in when brand new, after a couple hundred miles your dry grip will improve a lot.

Do you think 275's would fit in the front? How large do you think could fit in the rear?
