^ +1 Def different . the dency's are pretty trick.

This is from their site -

The Dency 2000 Wheel Nuts by KYO-EI, the same company that produces Kics spaces, utilizes and electronic magnetic key for superior theft prevention.

Electronic Key
- Developed with leading manufacturer Miaw lock
- Locks with powerful magnetic force, duplication would be very difficult
- With the adoption of the ferrite magnet, high degree of safety
- Because there is no key hole, makes it very hard to pick
- Lightweight form for improved wheel balance.

Core Nut Key
- Abundant lock pattern.
- Preventing the slide with the form which thought of the dispersion of torque.
- Super hard (SCM435) forging for increased durability

The RS Watanabe lugs are more for the old school cats with the older Z's or 510 Bluebirds. The Kyo-Ei's are much more advanced for the 350Z crowd.
I think that guys rims are OK as hippies do not steal rims....

24k gold lugs from advan? far less security-oriented. cannot find
any pic except for that in the 2008 advan catalog (which is very
tiny). RHD stock those?

Interesting...what happens if you lose the key, or the magnetic cap gets damaged or stuck?

I'd imagine you'd have to have the manufacturer send over another...Its pretty much the same w/ the new allen-like volk locking lugs.

95$-125$ for a set of locks, they cost more then the lugs itself. I suppose it's worth it to keep people from stealing 2500$ set of wheels. But still very expensive.
