Default Noob question on Tire Pressure

It's 29 degrees outside this morning when I checked my tires before I left for work. (The car had been sitting in the garage for about 8 hours) The pressure readings came out to be 31's in the front and 30 and 32 in the rears. Do I need to make them 35's all around in this cold weather? It seems its going to get warmer soon. What should I do?

I'd keep an eye on those readings. I don't know if your roads are as bad as mine over here in MA, but I wouldn't let those tires get below 29-30 psi. Crunching a wheel in a snow hidden pothole would suck. I'm also running on stock GT wheels, so I'm particularly mindful of my 19" rears. I tend to have to fill up my rears once a week, but I also think I have a slow leak
Better to be safe than sorry, right? I'm not sure what your local gas stations have for air pumps, but the Hess stations around me have an automated pressure reading pump, which makes things trivial.

I'd say as long as it's 30-31 and you're fine. Once you start driving it will warm up to around 35-36

tires will warm up regardless of the temperature outside. 31psi turns into 35psi after a couple miles. Your good to go.

set the proper cold pressure and call it a day, at the climate changes around you, change your pressure.

Maybe you need some nitrogen atoms. They are very small so you need a lot. Millions and millions.

+1 again. The pressure is critical, so set it to whatever it should be cold.

Its the same as the first winter with any other car !!!! The Z doesn't gain or lose pressure any more than any other car on the road.
