Default Michelin tires for 05 350Z.

Anyone useing Michelin tires on their Z's? How do you like them? I've been using GoodYear F-1 all season but they wear quickly. I checked our former threads but no help.

The PS2s are probably the best UHP tires you can buy for the Z.

Here's a comparison thread...

^^ +1

Michelin PS2 is the best performance tire you can put on your Z:
  • Runs very quietly (very little road noise)
  • Sidewall flex/stiffness is perfect (providing a comfortable ride but stiff enough for great handling)
  • Decent wear/life
  • Sticks like glue to the roadway, even on the wet (amazing wet traction/grip)
The only disadvantage is co$t (but you get what you pay for).

I'm a strong supporter of the Michelin PS2 tires as well. The non-PS2 (sometimes simply called Pilot Sport, or PS1 (OEM G35, Viper, etc.) is not a bad bargain either.

I liked the F-1s and although they wear quickly I was satisfied with their performance.

I have the PS 2 on my car 285 R and 255 F Great tire its a very quiet tire and thread wear is excellent.. Ride Comfort dont expect too much in that aspect, the roads suck azz where i am though.. If your going stock sizes though you should be fine..

How does the Michelin PS A/S compare to the PS2 and F1 GS-D3?
