ok so i found this great set of 18" oem 350z wheels that come with the stock potenza tires.. seller claims they are practically brand new and have only 200 miles on them.. but says that they dont come with TPMS... Now either he took them out and remounted the tires, or they just never came with them to begin with... but I was thinking, that 18" oem wheels off a 2007 Z would come standard with TPMS..... so im asking the experts for some advice plz?? thanks

now keep in mind the wheels are chrome and if they are supposed to have tpms on there, then if he took the tires off the wheels and took the tpms off, then its possible that they are rechromed, and as a lot of us know, if they weren't re-chromed correctly, then they could eventaully crack...

Why on Earth would they need to be re-chromed just because the tires were taken off? Odd logic.
If you need TPMS, they are for sale constantly on here.

im not at all worried about the TPMS, i know they can be had in the classifieds... i was just wondering if they came standard or not... there was a thread about the the re-chroming of these wheels, and if theyre done wrong, then they can eventually crack... I just HOPE that its factory chrome... follow me ?

 

I own 07 Z, they do come from factory with TPMS!

 

Just because TPMS is not included doesn't mean it didn't come with the car and it doesn't necessarily mean he had the stockers re-chromed. He could have removed the TPMS to have them installed in the replacement wheels, hence them not being on the stockers.

 

Just to confirm what was stated, yes all '07's come with TPMS.
