Default Whats the catch with these 19" Wheels+Tires+Shipping+Tax for $1200?

I found four 19" SPEEDY WHEELS Vapor 2 with tires for $1200 mounted, balanced, shipping included, and no tax on WheelFire.com. Is there a catch?

LOL. +1. It's that cheap ($),because they are that cheap(quality).

Don't be a cheap azz, buy some decent rims. You WILL regret buying junk rims.

Hehehe, I'm a bit of a noob. So what can happen, they just crack on me? I'm not huge into performance so I don't care if they're a bit heavy or something.

What about these Petrol Octanes Petrol Octanes cheapos too?

Or these TSW Nogaro, is TSW a decent brand?

You don't have to get the best **** like a lot of people on this site do, but you should definitely stay away from the really crappy stuff. From what I hear tsw's are decent, maybe someone who has owned these can chime in. I used to have Axis rims which held up fine. I have works now and the finish alone on the works is ten times better. Not to mention its a 3 piece with a fat two step dish. I wouldn't go with any brands of lesser quality than axis or tsw.

A guy I know went cheap, he bought Sportmaxx rims. Now he has rims that are dented with the paint peeling off of the spokes. He claims he didn't hit any crazy pot holes. I didn't believe him at first, until I saw a different guy in the same parking lot with the same rims that were also dented. His rims got like this in less than a year! He thought he was saving big $$ by spending around 1k for rims with tires, but now he has 1k worth of rims that look crappier than the stocks which are in perfect structural and aesthetic condition.

Those wheels look like they are going to have a high offset.

They are not staggered like most 350z wheels, so 235's all around and they are cheap tires. Most wheel setups are staggered 8.5 front and 9.5 or 10" rear with 245 front and 275 rears for tires. So those are cheap wheels, non staggered, crappy tires and 235's all around. Thats why they are cheap.

Really they shouldn't even list 350z as a car these fit. Yeah they bolt on but are they right? Not really.

See these wheels: http://www.wheelfire.com/scontent/Wh...=Non-%20Brembo

They are 8.5 / 9.5" wide and 245/275 staggered setup. I'm sure the offsets are crappy but spacers would sort that out. They are not really much more money than what you are looking at. Look for something like this instead.

I would add a snide comment to this discussion, but feel as if
there is enough positive information and help already.

Not sure where the generalization of the Nexen N3000s being crappy tires came from; they're actually pretty good for the money. But definitely save up a little more for other rims.

Cheap offsets. Just look around in the used section of this forum and you can find nice rims for around that price range.
