20" Rims. Should I or not?
Hey guys. i guess because of the time of night I may not get the quick response I'm looking for. But all are welcomed.
I have an opportunity to pick up some 20" rims with tires for my GT ZR tomorrow. This is my problem. I drove the car that they are currently on and found the tires make a lot of road noise. Not the biggest problem but not too cool to me. I also would be sacrificing the quailty of the ride I currently have with my rims.
There's more. He wants to trade my rims for his plus money. I not only loose ride quality, gain road noise, loose my TPMS and the 4 month old tires on the stock 18".
Now I do Gain some sick looking 20" rims with 245/front and 285/rear with a badass chrome lip. I know I can change the tires later to a better quality for a quiet ride. I just can't understand why it's not sitting well with me.
What do you think?

NO MAN! I haven't kept up with the times so IDK what a GT ZR is (and am too lazy to look it up
) but unless its a type of SUV or Truck dont do it. Unless you want a lifted car or some really rash/bump succeptible rims.

look at your sig.. it has GT in it... and Grand Touring
and you don't know what a GT ZR is?
Thanks guys for having my back regarding the GT ZR thing. Maybe what I should have said was 350Z-GTR.
I do have limited space in my garage and don't need an extra set of wheels lying around. The rims are very close to exactly what I'm looking for when it comes to style. (No road rash what so ever). I would have to pay $500 out of pocket plus my wheels. Maybe less when I offer.

no one here can tell you to do it or not without
1- seeing a pic of the wheels
2- exact details
i say dont do it.. if you go 20'' make sure they are quality light weight wheels and not heavy wheels that WILL SLOW your car down, and if this guy wants your stocks with 500 it makes me think they are not quality

ahaha...yea I just put 2 and 2 together. I was thinking its some new gimmick Nissan had to move out these played out chassi.
350z is overweight as it is but a convertible GT, thats a heavy mother. I say might as well go all out on looks. Go for the 20's.
btw. . .18" fronts 19" back rays? Thats hardly the same as driving with +2, +1 size non staggered blingers.
