New Shoes
I frequent this site almost daily but a few months ago I was bored and took pics of some wheels I got put on. They are Motegi 18" staggered. While they weren't my first choice, for $500 w/ tires, I really thought it was a good deal. And I specifically wanted gun metal color wheels.
After seeing so many modded Z's, please understand I've made modest changes such as removing the 350z badge, getting the license framed and adding a stubby antenna and I'm a happy camper.
License Plate $10
Antenna $10
Wheels and tires $500
Tint - $200
My little Z...priceless.

That looks awesome. Great color combo. I'm not a fan of black cars, but yours looks good. And whatever makes you happy is alright by us.

Specs?
You took the trouble to photograph the car with its new wheels and tires, but only mention you have 18” wheels. It looks very good, but your thread would be more interesting if you provide additional info.
Your setup looks good, and the budget is very good.

- How wide are the wheels?
- What model wheel?
- Offset?
- Tire sizes?

Come to think of it, I bought my 2003 Blk Touring Z with 29k Miles, clean car fax for $15,500 about 1 year ago.
I have bought some generic cross drilled rotors that I will be adding to the wheels to dress it up a bit in conjunction with Hawk Brake Pads.
Minor tweaks but it's so fun to do.
Thanks for the input guys!

Thermal, I see what you're saying. I added a rear shot of the car. Am I missing something or do the tires SLIGHTLY stick out? I like that...but then again it's just me and I am content w/ the Z.

Not bad for $500 wheels with tires. I was trying to do the same since I need new 2 tires anyways which costs just the same. Did your g/f know you were taking of pic of her?

Haha - yes she did. She was busy putting on last minute makeup as we (and the Z) had a wedding to attend. We were there early and I had the digital camera with us.
