I have 225/45/18's in the front and i want to know if i can put on 275/35/18's in the rear without any trouble. i dont have tcs or vdc i just dont want my car to run weird, will this work?

Nope, it will understeer badly , will track poorly , will be twitchy at speed. 275/40 would be a better tire. The only prob with that is the car will handle like crap.

why would the car handle like crap? explain yourself. 245 in the front with 275 in the rear is one of the most common setups.

terrasmak’s response advises against running 225 front with 275 rear (as the OP suggests he wants to do in his original message). Of course that would be an awful setup, and I’m wondering why you need an explanation for why this is bad. You mention 245 front, but the OP says he's using 225 on the front.
Also, terrasmak points out that mounting a shorter tire on the rear than the front is a bad idea (something the OP seems to be planning if you read his first post here). Do you disagree?
