Were you expecting issues with those smallish tires?

I cut down a hoosier race tire on the fender today (it pulled the fender lip out and cut it like buter). Will be posting a pic in a bit to show why it happened (big time airborne over a bump).

Tire cut down upon landing: This was as the car was coming down...not its highest point.

not that doesn't look safe...

Was that due to the course condition?

EDIT:

I have 275 40 18s on and 11 inch wide rear but I think I need 275 35 to get rid of that rediculous sidewall.

Love the set up, just wouldn't trust the rack mounted into the plastic clip on panels. Would have made life easier for me if I trusted a roof rack on my Z

Well done.
I use a hitch with a bike rack for two, then the other two and gear inside.

FYI I got the 370z 19s 19x10 widened to 19x12s, the 305 is stretched on it. It did rub very slightly on the shock dust cover with the 10mil spacers. So I added a 5mil for testing, and drove for a few days. Car is in shop getting the final (seriously im done done with performance) tune on the blower.

I might go twin charged one day though.

Car is at the shop so no pics as of yet. I dont have the bread for the 345s yet but with a 15-20m spacer all looks well. I have room going directly up from the rim to my fender so should be a perfect fit. Might have to pull (very slightly if at all to fit) maybe 2 to 3 mil if that.

FYI I am not running coilovers, just upgraded shocks to save space under the car.

I will be moving 305s to the 19x10s on the front 370z 19s once the 345s come in. Maybe July 13th-ish

not my rim but looks just like this. Rated up to 1500 ft tq
