315/30-18 seems to be the widest when mounted on the proper wheel.

Default Looking for thoughts on tire size...

The wheel: 19x9.5/11 Linea Corse LC818 - Hyper Silver (5x114.3 +15+20/73)
Thread is HERE
Originally I was leaning towards 255 35r front and 285 35r...

But after seeing Robert_k's Z, I am looking at 265 30r front and 305 30r rears.

What are your thoughts?

I'm running a 19x9.5/11 (+20 & +25). So you'll sit out 5mm more than I am. I'm also on KW V3 coil overs with SPL camber arms and links. I don't have my alignment specs thought. Sorry.

No worries... I will be installing eibach sport line coilovers, kinetix front and rear camber kit as well. How flush is your front tire? Would the 5mm sink the look... I think it might.

What are your thoughts on 255 35r front and 285 35r rear?

Good setup, but why add more understeer to a car that plows like a boat. Also with a skinny front tire, wrong thread, this is for wide tires.

what is the best way to make a stock 04 350z look lowered but not via tires/rimes? It seems to me by putting good/race style rims on stock 18in tires would not look right, would it?

You need to buy wheels, tires and lower the car.

Performance Shock Inc will make you some double adjustable ohlins ttx's for about $4500 or 3 ways for an grand more. MCS is about the same, but uses remote reservoirs. Moton/JRZ are a little more money.
