I wonder how similar the G Coupe fenders are to the Z fenders.

I've been thinking about getting some track wheels and have been debating about running 265/275 on the fronts and 295/305 on the rears. I want to get as flush as possible without rubbing, even on hard cornering. Preferably 10f/11r or 9.5f/10.5r inch wide wheels.

For simplicity reasons, let's assume I go with a 9.5 front, 10.5 rear 18" track wheel on 265 fronts and 295 rears. What offset range would any of you recommend for this setup?

I'm currently running 19x9.5" fronts on +7 offsets on 245/35's and 19x10.5" rears on +3 offsets on 275/35's. Fenders rolled. I rarely rub; only exceptions is when I have to angle on a steep driveway.

Obviously, my current setup on my G Coupe is not ideal for tracking. It's more of a show than go type of setup. But I would love to have a track setup since I do plan on taking it to the track in the future (i.e. autox, road course, etc).

You'll need relatively high offsets compared to your daily wheels. I've run a few different 9" fronts before with a 275 at a +31 to +34 offset. I've also run a 10" front with a +25 offset and 275 tire. I currently run a 10" front with a net +28 offset and a 285 tire.

For the rears, I used to run a 10.5" wide wheel with a 305 at +43 offset. I tried a 15mm spacer to net a 10.5" wheel with a +28 offset. It was ok until the car was lowered, then just needed a light fender roll.

If you are only going to run a 265, no need for the added weight of a 9.5" wheel. You could even run a 9" wheel with some of the smaller 275s.

Who knows, he has some retarded camber on it. Look at the picture and draw a vertical line, then look at the wheel.

True. I'm guessing it's +13, as a -13 18x10 wheel would literally stick out over an inch.

I am currently reading and searching this particular thread.

I have some questions and/requests. I'm currently running 255/35/19 with 22mm offset for the front on 19"X9.5" wheels. I am planning to install BBK which will most likely require 15mm spacer for the fronts. Too much lips on the rim....

<19"X9.5 rims with 255/35/19 on 7mm offset>
What do I need to do make above set-up fit without rubbing without switching to smaller tires? Fender roll? Camber kit? Does any one have pics of similar set up for the front? Is this even possible?

I will be getting new wheels that will fit BBK for track only. Above set-up will be for street use.

Thanks

You can't roll the front fenders as there isn't anything to roll. You could do a pull, but I wouldn't recommend it unless you don't care what your fenders look like (many look pretty busted up after this is performed).

If you absolutely have to run that big of a spacer, you COULD dial in a ton of negative camber with aftermarket front A-arms.

Are you sure you need that big of a spacer?

thanks for the reply. I guess I need to just run different wheels for now. I think 10 mm spacer may work.....
