Default Motegi Touge wheels

i've been looking for wheels for quite sometime now, i'd love to buy Volks/Works but they're waaay outta my budget. and if i decide to buy a set of those, then i'll be saving like forever to get them.

so, i came across the Motegi Touge in 19s.

they don't look bad at all, and will be within my budget including shipping (which is almost the same price as the wheels' cost).

now, those wheels comes in 19x10 5x114.3 +30 all around. with that kinda offset and width, are they gonna look flush? will i have to roll my fenders? and what would be the best tire size to get?. i'm on stock springs atm, and i'm thinking of getting Tanabe GF210 along with those wheels.

weigh about 26.3lbs a wheel, which isn't bad as well.

would appreciate pics (if anyone has them on 350z)

thnx

plus thirty is kind is kind of high on a 10" inch wheel...if you do this you will probably need a spacer in the rear.

Have you looked into Enkei's or AME's as well? There are some deals to be had if you are patient.

i just searched and found these for sale:

19x10 +30
19x8 +30

tbh, they don't look bad on 350z.. maybe the owner is running spacers.

i thought about buying used volk/work/ame, but even with them being used, they're still way too much and shipping will just rip me off.

I looked into these wheels when I first got my Z also , they look nice and are affordable.

The cons are heavy and won't clear BBK's but if you plan on rolling on OEM brakes (non-Brembo) I'd say go for it. Tanner Foust beat the crap out of these wheels for 3 years in FormulaD & D1 so I think they may be pretty sturdy.

i have brembos on my "to-buy list", so those won't clear them?

and what's the weight of the stock 18s? i thought 26.3lbs isn't bad.

I would recommend some Tenzo wheels if you are not looking to spend to much. For example we have the Tenzo DC-5 19x8.5 in front & 19x10 in the back with the correct offset for $900 a set. I think these are a much cleaner looking wheel for the Z

actually Tenzo got some nice looking wheels, but the only one i like is GF-7 (cuz it has a nice lip), but they don't come in the right offset.

great wheel. same weight as stock offsets are good you may want a 10mm spacer for the rear. Throw a set of 275/30 f and 275/35 rears on them and you will have a cool looking set up

ah the touges, these were my first set of wheels.
They are nice, affordable, and not so durable trust me you will end up wanting to upgrade.
You should take a look at Enkei RPF1's.
However if your gonna pull the trigger on these, I would suggest the 18" wheels because they come in better fitment. You can get a set that has +25 all around, and yes these wheels are not BBK or brembo friendly.

I think a nice set of Enkeis would work better. Almost 27 lb wheels + tires, damn thats heavy. Have you thought about going with a used set? I would check out your local section of the forum and see if anyone is selling nicer wheels at a cheap price.

Looks good installed! Enkeis would be a step up, however.
