Default Paint them or keep them as is...

Right now I have sportmax's 006's (i hate them). They are the black with polished lip. I was curious if some of you think I should keep them as is, or just spray the whole thing black without the polished lip for now.
Eventually will get wheels that are much better but just for now...

Thanks.

Im in the same predicament. Bought the Z with some scrungy *** wheels. Im gonna try to get whatever I can for them and buy new wheels. Thats probably the best route. Dont waste money on painting em when you can use that money towards new wheels. thats the way I see it.

trade them for stock wheels+cash. Then you will be on your way to a better set of aftermarket wheels

I mean if you think they are too heavy and have horrible offsets, why waste time and money on painting them? Just save up some money and buy new ones.

take it to a shop and get them painted. Don't can spray the lips yourself ... Also, If you don't plan on getting a new set of wheels, get some spacers.

I prefer the polished lip with black wheels. Solid black reminds me of the day when we took off our hubcaps to go drag racing. The steel wheels were always painted black.

Here is a pic of my Z with black wheels and polished lips.

Damn. I would just sell them for stock wheels + cash. Honestly, some 06+ stockers would look MUCH better on your car. Hell you can even paint the OEM ones black if you really want. But honestly get rid of those things they make your car look cheap.
