so are you sending back the damaged tire?

 

They never asked for the damaged one back. They just asked which one was damaged and they will be sending it today.

 

Story still sounds a little strange and suspicious , but DTT did what they had to do. Whether half of the story is BS or not, they have to make customers happy. I guess we will never know if it is true or not.

 

It could very well be manufacturing defect that spiraled into failure. I mean only one tire was damaged right? And he's not asking for all four replacements.

 

there's no recall from Falken, so I don't think all four needs to be replaced.. this could be damaged from road hazards, etc... who knows? but thanks to DTT, he is getting a replacement tire for FREE! that is good customer service!
