TXSTYLE, could you please explain your 245x40x19 sizing in the front again? Sorry but I didn't understand your reasoning in your last post. The 245x40x19 makes the front taller than the stock 245x45x18 by about .7 inches. Doesn't that make the car's odometer go off? The rear maintains the same sizing by about .1 inch of difference...

The vehicle is RWD therefore a taller or shorter front tire will not effect the speedo, odo, or anything of the sort. However as a general rule of thumb you want to have no less than 1/2" difference in O.D. front to rear & no more than 3/4"...if you want to keep the car happy...ie trac control, abs, etc.
Mmmmm pretty...

I think 19's would have to at least go on that car, probably get some lightweight BBS racing wheels, and get like 245 on the front with 275-285 on the rear. Those wheels will not really add to much weight if they are not even less. Plus the performance on the 19's are awesome, i currently drive a bimmer with 19 over the stock 17 and not only did it improve the looks of it, but the handling is awesome, i would probably recommened yokohamas avs, or the goodyear eagle gs d-2. Of course 18 are more confortable to ride with, but lets look at it, a car with bigger and nicer rims just gets more looks. Yes, it is a lost investment, but you can actually sell them pretty good on ebay, i bought my last rims for $4000 and sold them on ebay a year later for $3500. Its up to you if you want to make your car look a little different from everybodys elses, i mean you dont wanna drive around and see the exact same car around every corner!!!!!!!

Txstyle,
I have to scroll back to see yours...I presume you posted pictures and I just haven't been keeping up. I am selling my Performance rims/tires and looking into aftermarket. I'm in love with the HRE 445R's...but an not sure I can justify the $'s. A lot of you guys either seem to have the best hook ups I've ever heard of...or throw your money around like paper! I got a quote on the HRE's for @$3200 in 18's...but for my pocketbook....that's going to be a stretch. Someone mentioned you delt with the tire pressure monitors and "Jimmy rigged" them to work in you wheels? Could you direct me to that post if you gave a detailed explaination? Or PM me if you could...don't want to take this thread off topic. By the way...LOVE the looks of those new brakes on your Z!

will these work (well?)
I like the giovananna wheels below because of the look of the deep dish & simple/clean 5 spoke. I do not know offsets, bolt pattern on these, weight, etc. Can anyone give me feedback? Am i missing the something simple? No one is talking about these wheels yet they are 19" and 8.5 fronts/10 rears which are about what is needed for the 350Z.
I am sure I will get varied opinions on looks but someone must know the facts on how good these wheels are in other areas besides looks.

Gorgeous rims. I'm surprised Giovanna came out with a wheel like that. So simple, they almost look stock.
Giovanna's site isn't up yet apparently: www.giovannawheels.com

I inquired about those wheels...They're called the GF1's or something like that. Expect to pay just over 4k with tires. I almost passed out but then I go and order wheels and tire that cost me 3500...go figure...If your'e going to do it do it right the first time. GET THEM.
Picture these SSR's on a CS Z in 19...should be here at the end of the month.

ps. You're running real close to the *bling bling* factor with these as well, but I don't see a problem, personally.

Another option you may want to consider are Folger wheels. I was very, very close to getting their 19" Cup 4 wheels before I settled on my current selection. Plus, you'll see their prices are excellent.
Here's their website (Rader = wheel)
