If we use 9.5 for the rear will the offset be +30 or +38?

So what you're saying is YES.
We can get 275/40/18 9.5 with the +30 offset on the rear for those of us not fooling around with the suspension. Are you sure that spacers are necessary? It's really confusing cause they make it seems as if the +30 is with their suspension only. What my wheel guy told me was the distance from +30 to +33 was like stacking 3 CD together. It's not that much difference but we want to get it right the first time. I'm really concerned about clearing the brakes and suspension. I know the Z will be able to take the wider tire but this wheel crap is too complicated. I need that little guy from "The fast and Furious".

TXSTYLE after reading you reply again...I think I finally get it. If you're staying with factory suspension you can go with the +38 offset. If you use Nismo Suspension or any other you have to go with the +30. Why do they say 8.5? Is it because this is the width that comes standard?

Ok for all looking to put some fat rubber on the back and front you now have the numbers needed. Time to place those orders.
Recap:
***With factory standard suspension set-up***
245/40/18 8.5 +30 Offset FRONT
275/40/18 9.5 +38 Offset REAR
If going with Nismo suspension follow the guide.

TXSTYLE: I am going with 19's also. What size tires are you going with? I dont want the tires to stick out at all or maybe just a little. I am planning on going with 8.5's all the way around. Any suggestions on tire size?

OK, now let me see if I have this correct: since the NisMo suspension is wider than the stock suspension, it requires a lower offset, meaning I have to run slimmer wheels? And does anyone think I can fit an 18x10 out back?

TXSTYLE --
I am getting the Touring model with manual trans. I seem to recall that the front wheels will be changed to 18 x8's. If so, and if I put on 245/45 tires up front, (same as on the rear), will I end up with poorer handling than if I left the 225/45's up front?
