Talking TXSTYLE's Wheels Revealed!!!

Well my people, as "The Day" draws ever so close, and this thread receiving the overwhelming posts that it has (I knew it would ) obviously alot of us share an extreme liking of nice wheels. Although my mind is all but made up, here are the 3 wheel choices I have decided upon:
1. The AVS Model V by Yokahama

2. The SSR GP-0 Decolte Evolution by Super Sport Racing-Japan

And my current "front-runner"and most likely to get put on my Chrome Silver Z.......~drumroll~....... Let's see who can Name These Wheels???

You guys know what's even more clever?

So far, this trick works 98% of the time.

Nice choices Tx, I like #2 better than your front runner though.
Question..I know you're going with 19's...

1. What have you figured about the dimensions?

2. Are 40 series going to make it on the 19's. I would really hate to go 35.

3. Does this sound about right?

19x8.5 245/40 +30 offset Front
19x9.5 275/40 +38 offset Rear

Of course Nismo used this size in 18's but they dropped the suspension down 20mm. I guess my question is if you go by the standard height and don't drop it will it be ok to put 40's on the 19'? I'm sure inquiring minds want to know...

They're no lightweights: 29.48 & 31.02 lbs. But with my planned exhaust, intake, and fuel/air management mods, I'm hoping to break into the 320+hp figures to offset that additional heft.

Excellent question! And you know, I'm strongly guessing YES. Also, depending on how the Z looks after my 19' install, I may opt not to lower the car. Why, well for one, the "Performance Model" is coming with an already somewhat stiff ride (editors have commented again & again about the stiffness of just the Touring Model ) and then, you may recall my earlier post in this thread about the NISMO suspension and the fact that it will require an insanely lower offset wheel @28-25 because of the size of the components. Honestly guys, it is TRULY hard to "know for sure" the outcome of said wheel and tire dimensions until I and others can bolt em' up and go for a test drive. Of course some of the plans most of you have (18's) using a 8-8.5in & 9-10in 235-245/35-45/18 & 255-275/30-40/18 Rim and Tire setup should work just fine.

TX, I know this guess isn't correct but they look like the ol' Enkei V1s. You remember those? They were pretty sexy, and no-one ever got them. I think the DeColte Evos are lovely too; here's a site with some nice rimswww.gtautosports.com

Hmmmmmmmmmm? You may be right! My partner and I have been trying to figure that konig out today, but we can't seem to recall it in our "wheel rolodex" a.k.a. our minds!

TX,

I'll be honest, I'm trying to get those Advan Connoisseurs. Do you know anyone that can make it happen?
