Default tire fitment gurus needed - super wide tire set up

i'm planning on going on a wide tire set up and i understand result my vary with diff rims size/offset and alignment settings.

my main question is will this stagger set up work 315/30/18 rears and 265/35/18 fronts. they'll be mounted on 10.5 +15 and 9.5 +12 lmgt4's. my main issue is will it fit in the rears w/o super camber and will the fronts have any rubbing issue on turning.

i'm looking for a generalized anwser as i'm not sure what the max tire fitment on the 350z wheel wells on stock body panels (rolled fenders for sure) to drive comfortably. i've seen max tire thread and most of them are running 295's 255's set up i wonder if i'm pushing it w/ the set up i want to try

any input would be great.

thanks,
Jon

rears should not be a problem with a rolled rear fender. dont know about that size tire, maybe someone else could answer this one. but i wouldnt think you would have a problem

fronts might be ok with that size and offset, depending on the drop and you might want some a arms.

but overall you could do it.

i have 19x10.5 +18 on fronts with a 255/35 and have no rub on turning. you will need some camber adjustment but shouldnt be to much.

295/30-18 is the front tire size you want if you want your car to handle. Personally i would only run that setup for the track. If you want a nice wide street setup i would do 275/35 front and 295/35 rear. The offset for my listed street setup you will probably want low 20's and for the 295/315 conbo you need to stay as close to 30 as possible. Enkei NT03's have a perfect offset for what you want to do.

You might be able to run a 315 on that 15 offset 10.5 wheel but you would need about 45 degress of negative camber.

My 10.5 rear wheels with a 35 offset and 305 was close as is. lowered 1.5" I had to tweak the lip a tad, it has more negative camber than what I really prefer (but handles and sticks great). Plus the inner sidewall grazes the shock sleeve boot under compression but doesn't hurt nothing and the tire tread wears even.

So with your wheels that means your outer rim lip would stick out about 3/4" further than mine do. Plus yer wanting to use an even wider tire than a 305. So you're probablly looking at overall, your tires needing about 1" more room than what I have.

Being lowered I personally would not even try to run a 305 on a 15 offset wheel. More like a 275. A 305 needs the offset to be about 30-35'ish. Maybe I would consider a 295. Even then I don't see how it would work without a ton of camber, completly rolloing the fender flush and not being lowered much, if at all.

Think there was a guy runninng a 315 for a drag setup but the tires stuck out past the fenders and he wasn't lowered at all.

I think you could do it with a 25-30 offset.

I agree with everything you're saying Chad. He's basically trying to have flush wheels and super wide tires at the same time, but you can't have it both ways JjL (unless that's your thing).

265/35/18 on a 18x9.5 +12 would be close to fitting with some neg camber, though it would probably still rub. I think 255 would be a better choice given that offset, and that will still require neg camber. 315/30/18 on a 18x10.5 +15 is absurd IMO, even with rolled fenders.. Even a 285 or 295 is pushing it on a +15.

Pick flush wheels or wide tires. If you want wide tires, check out some of these guys' setups: https://my350z.com/forum/wheels-and-...es-thread.html

I run 265/35/18 on 9s front and 295/35/18 on 10s rear. They sit flush on +20.

Track I run 18x10s square 275/35/18s +20.

You're going to need negative camber and new f/r control arms to get it right.

That thing will rub all the way around.. I'm running 19x8.5 +10 and 19x10 +10 255/35 and 285/35 and I rubbed with rear fenders slightly rolled. I removed one front screw and it helped for the most part, and the rear I gotta re-roll more aggressive.

thanks for the input guys. i was seeing if i'm just pushing it a little too much so had to ask. the hankook rs2 tires are being cleared out and was hoping on grabbig some 315s but i might go for some 295 or 285(diff tires since they dont offer that size in the clear out). can't go wrong with 100 a tire for 265s and 140 a tire for 315s on rs2 but thats the only sizes they offer that aren't dinky sized tires. but i have preceeded with ordering 3 pairs of 265s and decided to back out on the 315s.
