Default 350z wheels set up help

I bought some 245/35/20 front and 275/30/20 back tires. I was wondering if you guys think this set up is ok?

The rear tire size is OK, but the front is too tall with that rear (i.e., the front is taller than the rear). I doubt it will work. You need a smaller diameter front tire (245/30-20" will work).

Agreed. 245/30-20 front will work good.

That combo works fine if your car doesn't have TCS or VDC, i.e. base. Actually, the "common" setup is 245/35 and 275/35 in 19". For 20" you would use 245/30 and 275/30.

Ok, let us know how it goes. For your sake I hope you have a base model with no VDC.

Just to point out the funny fact in this post, OP asked if he's set up was okay, people shed their thoughts on how another set up is better and OP says "I'm gonna go with my set up because a lot of people have it." Just funny to see how people's good opinions in the end doesn't matter. Just got me thinking while reading this thread "So....why did OP post this thread again?"

Good luck with that - thanks for asking.

BTW, it is also wheel OFFSET dependent, but I'm sure you've already decided on that, too.

I have 245/35/20 front and 275/30/20 rears on GT-C and I have an enthusiast so it has TCS and it rarely throws up a slip warning. If it really gets that bad you can always just turn off VDC or TCS. Its not like you really need it in our bay area weather anyways. I think the main reason that people run 245/35 instead of 245/30 up front is cause the sidewall on 245/30 is tiny and risk of getting a dent in your wheel go way up. But IMO either size works, just have to be more careful with 245/30

Tha is the reason why I want 35 instead of 30 roads are not the greatest in SF, you think I can get away with 245/35 front and 275/35 rear?

Well . . . your odometer is gonna be a little off cause the diameter is gonna be bigger than stock but you wont have any problems with VDC/TCS . . . check this site out, it might help:
