Purely a financial analysis, but:

A = What you paid for your car
B = Current value on KBB

A - B = How fast your car is depreciating

Take into account how much fun you've gotten out of your car & transportation use. It's pretty easy to make a decision on whether or not "it was worth it".

Assuming you paid the standard 3 months income on a ring for this girl, and seeing that any divorced guy will tell you that a nagging wife is 100% a "negative value" proposition... you can calculate how fast your fiance is depreciating. Take into account how much fun you'll get out of her after you're married (no more bj's, etc.) & sandwich making use (I hope she at least cooks and cleans), and it's pretty easy to make a decision whether or not "it's worth it".

Drop the loss leaders in your life and stick to investments that have a high benefit / low cost ratio and you'll do just fine.

I had a nice little argument with my girl earlier about me being a jerk to her friend. I ramped up the jerk factor, and ended up getting an apology. Her friends an idiot, plain and simple. I'm not going to let anyone tell me I'm not allowed to call an idiot an idiot. This is America!!

In other words, follow the advice on page 1.
