He's right about being expensive though, ~ $200 for 5mm spacers shipped. The plus is that you can get exactly what you want.

like mentioned before, most of the time peeps need 3 or 5 mm spacers to clear a BBK.......other than that really spacers that size are barely noticable if at all........if your doing it for BBK - just like the expensive BBK you paid for - Gotta pay to play.......it is what it is...

how'd you get that? i got $125 shipped for four 5-mm spacers.

anyways, i'm probably gonna go for these 3-mm ones fitted for dodge stealth and mitsu 3000 gt. they're 5X114.3 and 67.1 and only $32 for a pair. these should fit, right J?

well since the holes are actual holes and not slots......and holefully not much larger than M12 they will stay fine, thing is the z hub is 66.1...you wrote 67.1..is that a type-O on your part...

if its 66.1 rock on..

if not, then know that they wont sit on the hub, but at least they arent slotted, so they should be fine.

I used their website. I chose both wheel and hub centric with 66.1 shipped to my Zip. I easily could have made an error however.

Motorsport Tech's spacers are a bit pricey, however they're worth every penny IMHO. The ones from Supercar does not have a hub flange and assumes the user will reuse the exposed stock hub flange at a reduced length (ie: 7mm hub flange length - 5mm spacer = 2mm hub flange exposed for the wheel to mount on). This posed a problem for my SSR MS1s because the hubcentric rings provided by SSR sat about 1mm within the wheel (not flush with the face mount), and the rings where a bit funneled where it meets the hub. The numbers wouldn't add up safely (overlap of rings onto exposed hub flange) and I didn't want to risk losing my wheels or any other potential catastrophic issues, so a hubcentric to wheelcentric spacer was the way to go. I had a pair of 5mm spacers built with a 7mm flange, just like stock. It fit onto the hub and into the wheel bore like a gay soul train orgy... very tight fight. No vibration issues either.

That's a great link, thanks. Looks like $115 shipped to do a hub AND wheel centric 3mm spacer (in other words, it fits tight on the hub, and your wheel fits tight over that, eliminating the need for hub-centric rings). I'm dropping a pretty penny on wheels, I don't mind a C-note for quality spacers. Plus, you can spec any size you want (up to 30mm).

I also spec'd a 12mm spacer, and it is roughly what one would pay for a 10-15mm Kics. I might just go this route for all my spacer needs.

don't need a 5 mm, just a 3 mm, maybe a 4 mm.

So, my +12 TE37s came in, and I needed a 3mm to clear the factory brembos. I thought I could just find a universal 3mm at any autoparts store, well not here locally. I ended up with a cast 5mm as a temp solution until the Motorsport Tech ones came in.

So glad I have the custom ones now...

Painted them black... perfect fit over the hub! Perfect fit inside the wheel, also.

Huge improvement over the cast universal ones...

Probably could have left it bright aluminum, as you can hardly see it once mounted.

Thanks again for the link, HXS!

looks great! glad i can help!

it's funny cuz i ordered 4-mm from them and they just arrived last week too!
looks like you got ones that are centric to your rims. mine are just hubcentric to the hub. i didn't take pics though

a bit pricey but well worth it!
