3-mm wheel spacers
most that need that small of a thickness is just to clear a BBK........???
Honestly your best bet is to have a local machine shop fab them for you......I would definitely stay away from the crappy aluminum casting ones......like your 2nd pic.....

Honestly that universal type 3mm will work just fine - even if its cast. We've run those on one of our race cars (E30) for years now. Spacers such as this bear no load, and your stock wheel studs will still be long enough to allow for proper lug engagement. Or, as Jason mentioned, buy a 5mm set and mill it down. What you may find though with the latter, is that there is not enough room for both the lip on the hub of the car to fit into place on the spacer once it's milled down
^^ YES! if he can find a 3mm cast one with the configuration 5x114.3 hes looking for - sure, go for it.
But to be clear! Do not mill down a 5mm cast one....only a 5mm machined aluminum one....aluminum plate, etc...
Do not machine a cast aluminum part......will break! dont gouge it, scratch it, mill on it, or grind on cast aluminum....

right ^
you don't want to start modding a cast spacer for sure. Make sure it's a cnc'd piece
the universal 3mm types as shown in the second pic - just about every auto parts store has 'em. Pepboys, etc etc. There is nothing better nor worse about them than the ones shown in the first pic - they all work the same. The ones with the slotted holes just allow them to fit on a wider variety of cars

thanks for all the responses!
i don't wanna get 5-mm cuz i don't want to extend my studs.
i just need a 3-mm for work's R-disk to clear my OEM brembos. i've had the non-universal 3-mm spacers before when i had my vs-xx but sold them along with the wheels.
how are these kics ones? these seem like the best quality universal ones...

My one and only main concern with buying universal spacers is i would try my best to find some that had the 66.1 mm center hub diameter in order to ensure the spacers where mount centered.......since these spacers have SLOTS and not holes to fit the 5x114.3 pattern well.
ALSO, with 5mm you don't need to extend your oem studs....many have done so and been fine and its been discussed here quite often...

We run a 3mm on Kwame's car, since he needed it to clear the calipers with his Volks - it's small enough where the hubring still engages the lip on the hub fine.
Jason is right too - 5mm will work on front or rear without longer studs - still gives you more than enough thread engagement on the lug. Anything bigger though, and you do need some sort of extended provision, either via a bolt on spacer, or a spacer that has longer studs included

FYI, i found a place that does 3-mm and even 4-mm wheel spacers that are hub-centric to car AND wheel! they're made from billet aluminum too.
kinda pricey, but you get what you pay for.
