Look at the seat of the OEM nut. Look at the seat of the Ray nut. Are they the same shape? There you go.

The OEM lug nut has a washer and a flat seat. The seat holds the wheel to the hub.

Rays (like other tuner nuts) uses a acorn seat. The seat holds the wheel to the hub.

Fits all Aftermarket Wheel uses ACORN Style lug nut.

Be careful.

The paint on the acorn shape will get all chewed up and worn off if you use them on OEM wheels.

My stock lugs do not look like the ones you pictured david. Maybe you could be more specific on what year those are?

My stock lugs look more like this, but not as dirty

For reference I have a 2006.

From the Evasive Motorsports website:

NOTE: LUG NUTS ARE MADE WITH TAPERED BOTTOMS SPECIFICALLY FOR AFTERMARKET WHEELS. DO NOT USE THESE TUNER LUGS FOR YOUR FACTORY WHEELS. WE NO LONGER ACCEPT RETURNS ON LUG NUTS FROM CUSTOMERS WHO ATTEMPT TO USE THEM ON FACTORY WHEELS. THESE LUGS ALSO DO NOT FIT ON SPECIAL WHEELS THAT REQUIRE INVERTED LUGS. WE WILL ALSO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS FROM CUSTOMERS THAT TRY TO USE THEM FOR THESE TYPES OF WHEELS.

Thanks. Essentially what I said 3 months ago. Wrong lug nuts at 100 MPH is stupid. Then again new members know best.

I have not removed and looked at the 370Z nut. This is a good question for the 370Z wheel forum.
