Default xxr 522's

Hey guys, a deal didn't go through with some spacers so i was looking for some affordable and good looking rims and i came across these.

XXR 522's - chromium black

i was looking at the 19's for a more aggressive look... I'm not too familiar with offsets so that's why i'm asking in this section.

I'm looking at these specs and was wanting some opinions on what would look flush.

18x9.5 offsets
5x100 - 5x4.5/114.3 38
5x4.5/114.3 - 5x120 25

19x10
5x4.5/114.3 - 5x120 42
5x4.5/114.3 - 5x120 20

i was wanting to put the 18s in the front...but if you guys see a problem let me know...you could even put in your 2 cents about tire variations, too

side note, i have a 03 track and love my stock rays and will keep them but am just looking for some variation, thanks fellas

If you want a 18/19 stagger go with:

Front: 18x9.5 5x4.5/114.3 25 offset
Rear: 19x10 5x4.5/114.3 20 offset

should take a look at this guy's thread:

https://my350z.com/forum/wheels-and-...-got-some.html

Those spokes poke up way farther out than the pictures they provide on the websites selling them. Some like it, some don't, up to you.

Please don't remove your lightweight Rays wheels to install the cheapist crap wheel on the market. There also about 10 pounds heavier than stock.

what makes it a crap wheel??? because they are a low price. Would you call someone's z crap because they got it for 10 grand when someone else paid 19 for theirs...i don't see what the fuss is about. I'll be taking them off and on for track days...most aftermarket wheels are heavier than the 03 rays, and trust me, the xxr's are not 28 lbs like you are saying, I wouldn't even consider them if they were

I've had nothing but good experiences with XXR's... People flame them cuz they're cheap, but if you like them who cares? I personally think they look good, and they are not that heavy as some people claim... If you like them, put them on your car... Nevermind the "Exhaust *****", he's just riding dick like the rest of the haters...

i think this will work with no light issue, i used a tire calc and the wheel specs from thermal, anyone had a problem running this setup???

There may be, especially on the nismo edition, its a perfect setup except for the extra understeer added.

I think I would do:
255/40/18
275/35/19

285 is fine, i would just rather run the same size or smaller overall diameter for the back tires (compared to stock).

I will quote the post (#42) from the Top 100 Questions thread....

The stock tire sizes and Outside Diameters are:
225/50/17 25.9"
235/50/17 26.3" (0.4" stagger)

225/45/18 25.9"
245/45/18 26.7" (0.8" stagger)

245/40/18 25.7"
265/35/19 26.3" (0.6" stagger)

265/40/18 26.3"
285/35/19 26.9" (0.6" stagger)
Even better than the 255/285 combo - less understeer.

Your welcome... As far as slip light I didn't have that problem cuz I have a Base model... But when I had my 17f/18r stagger I used 245/45/17 front and 265/40/18 rear... Use the tire calculator from 1010tires .com

here is the link... http://www.1010tires.com/TireSizeCalculator.asp
