Question well made wheel lug nuts?

I got a new set of wheels and whatever came with the wheels didnt make the first install, so I am looking for something better. what do you guys think about: gorilla or muteki or mcgard? I see a dealer on here selling muteki and they sell for about 55 bux. it looks nice cause my wheels are gunmetal and I wanted something in black. are they worth it?

I personally use McGard SplineDrive lug nuts. Haven't had any issues in the 3 years I've had them. Can't say much about the others though. Never used them.

do you know where did you get them from? and how much?
are they for your stock wheels or aftermarket?

I got them off of ebay actually lol. I think I paid about $65 or so. They're on my stockers right now, working on getting aftermarket wheels. Will put them on those as well.

i haven't had any issues taking them off and on and i do quite a bit

these are what I run as well, black on gunmetal wheels, had them for a little over a year with no issues, finish is still perfect after taking the wheels on a off a decent number of times.

I use these and love them! they are open ended and small....fit with all the wheels i own and the key is great for hand starting them all in even the tightest wheel cavities...

Gorilla:

Usually about $1.50 each at any local Discount Tire store.

I had trouble with black gorilla closed end lugs rusting a lot. Washed them two to three times a week. Also factor in that, I live on a island and they were changed every weekend from my DD wheels to my WW wheels.
Not so much swapping and less salty environment they might have held up.

thank you guys... i think im gonna go with muteki because of the color they offer.. sr48 titanium... they look awesome.

I have Muteki SR35s and I like them a lot, mostly because they are all locks (as opposed to just one lug being a lock) and they need to be hand torqued on and off (extra security + tire shops not using impact wrench = good for your car).

Please don't get Project Kics. Not only are they about $250-$300 (anyone who spends that much on lugs is a moron, IMO) but I've read they have water intrusion problems and that is not good for the insides of the lugs and the wheel studs.
