Question Will those wheels fit

Hi guys,

long story short: I ordered new wheels for my 2004 350z(Already have 18" stock wheels ).

I meant to install 18" x 8.5 front and 18" x 9.5" rear but 8.5" wide wheels are back order 'till 13th month of 2087 so here's my question: Can I install 9.5" wheel in front without ANY kind of modification?( no spacers, no nothing )?

P.S.: I browsed the first six pages of this section but I havent found anything, only for bigger wheels ( 19", 20" )

Thanks again,

Lonewulf

Im running a 9.5 Wheel in the front with a +15 offset and I'm lowered... I've had no issues so you should be fine... If you dont want spacers it depends on the offset you are getting...

Thanks for you answer. To be more specific, it says "35mm offset" on website? Should I expect troubles?

Thanks again for your help,

Use a offset calculator to compare your current wheels to the new wheels. With the new dimensions, check the car with a tape. Do you clear the suspension, brakes calipers and fenders? Reference: http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp

year 2087??

anyways, it all depends on the offset of the wheels to fit it.

Yeah, well, that was kindda sarcasm... It was more like 4-6 weeks but I dont have that kind of patience. Anyway, thanks for help. I'll try those tools so I can get a set of wheels I like ASAP

If it's a +35 offset you should be fine... You might want to get spacers as the wheels will be tucked and no where near flush...

Ok, I know I will sound noob and all but( first, yeah its a +35mm offset as stated on manuf. website ) I used the calculator from @Davidv and it says "Inner clearance: 24mm less" and "Outer position: EXTEND an extra 14mm". So from a mechanical standpoint, will I have trouble ( front )?

Thanks for your kindness and helpfull comments.

u should have no trouble. but for your own good, crawl under ur car and measure with respect to the distances you just posted. can your wheel go an extra 24mm IN and clear everything? can it also go 14mm OUT and clear your fender? its all up to you now bud, we can only do so much for u.

Man, thank you very much . Now, as YOU explained it (not like on some other website and all ) I do understand what those mm ( milimeters ) mean now. I'll crawl under da beast with some ruler or something and I'll check everything.

Thanks again guys,

Yes 18x9.5 +35 fits up front, but i would look into a better offset (low 20's) cause it will look like ***. Especially in the back.

like already stated if you have 9.5 front with 15-25 offset you should be fine. I'm running 265mm front tires with no rubbing and no fender rolling.

I'm on 19x9.5" front, +20mm, lowered, and I have plenty of room.

Glad you used the calculator.

The potential problem is inner clearance. Generally you do NOT want to move the wheel-tire closer to suspension components. Plenty of room on the outside - little wiggle room on the inside.

what is with all the new thrreads about wheel fitment lately? doesn't anyone research before blowing loads of cash on wheels and tires. anything is possible, i myself run a 19x10 front and 19x11 rear and have even seen 19x12 and 20x13 rear on non-widebody Z's yet people are always asking if 8-9.5's will fit... 4-6 weeks is a month to wait do some research and buy a set of wheels you will be happy with instead of something we will soon see listed in the marketplace
