Well the difference between 1 full degree of camber seems to be around 3k miles. So an extra 4 degrees , no dig deal.

Whoa did I miss alot lol... hate it or love it, it makes no difference to me. I set up MY car to how I like because at the end of the day its my car, time and money.

Obviously you feel the road more, but that does not negate smoothness. Under that logic, nobody should set their car up for track duty since that will reduce smoothness. I fail to see how that makes the car more or less safe.
6. Camber back to a reasonable area, more contact patch, making the car safer to drive and safer for everyone that shares the roadway.-semi valid in regards to contact patch and to debunk the argument of safety would be asinine on my part. Even though you're stretching on this, I'll give it to you.

I will leave it at that, I could probably come up with a few more. So what benifits are there to leaving it at the level it is now? It looks like an idiot picked the wrong offset wheels, and 2 year old set the suspension and the car is unsafe to the others around it.
SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, at the end of the day, you have 2(AT BEST) valid points. And they're a bit sketchy.

I'm done with it. I guess people will dislike what people dislike.

He seems accurate. I think it's safe to assume that Terrasmack hates stance. That, by definition, makes him a hater. I guess we're all a hater of something though. I hate silent farts. So when someone silent farts, I'm like "I HATE THAT I SMELL THAT AND DIDN'T KNOW IT WAS COMING!!!! HATEHATEHATEHATEHATE!!" and then they're all like "use a HATER" and I'm all like "SHO'U'RITE".

Stanced cars sit a bit low for my taste , but a properly set up one is still nice. It just takes planning and skill unlike the slap together crap you see in the stretch and poke thread. I would still run proper height tires , still have stretch , run no more than -2 rear camber , try to match the front camber , run the ride height so the fender lip is even with the top of the tire.

Nothing wrong with that setup. I think most people who do "stance" go for internet fame. I mean, my setup is WAY less functional than that, but there's two setups I've been contemplating that will be more functional yet still in that scope. That, and the performance mods I have planned deem it necessary. It's physically impossible to keep my car where it is and do what I ultimately have always wanted to do.

Quick question do most people take out there fender liners? i am going to have to but is this the common practice just curious. Thanks

You will need to remove your liners. The other option is to just drive until it rubs out. I wouldn't recommend that option though. It's loud and annoying.

The white wheels look nice. Do you have some low-dust brake pads installed? And I would also recommend getting some Armor-All wheel protectant spray to keep those babies as clean as possible.

How do 19's ride for you guys? I'm debating between 18's or 19's and I'm going to be lowered about 1.5" all the way around. Also between +12 and +22 which would look better? I heard 19's were rough, just wanted to know for sure. Also what size do you recommend for the height if I go with 19's? 35 series?

When I changed from 18s to 19s, the difference was not noticeable to me at all comfort-wise.

I'd recommend 19x9.5/10.5 +12, more pokey setup than the +22, looks great.

Also I believe your tire knowledge may be wrong because sidewall height (eg 35) is an aspect ratio of the tire width and cannot be considered by itself without the width context

Thanks Taryon, what tire sizes do you have assuming you have the same wheel specs? I don't want to be too stretched so I don't think the usual set up of 245/35 and 275/35 will work. With +12 and being lowered only about 1.5" you think I'll have to roll the quarters and fenders or just the quarters?

I do have those specs and I'm running a 255/35 and 285/35 lowered on HKS LS+ susp not too low though, rear clearance was an issue for me but kinda fixed by more fender rolling.


I'm not sure how much I'm lowered but a safe bet would be you would have to roll your rear fenders, not sure what you mean about the the quarters

Default What offset on these ES1's? Pics Provided

Hey guys. So I found this Z that I fell in love with and didnt get a chance to talk to the owner but I wrote down the tire sizes. I love this beefy look and im planning on going with the ES1's set up just like you see in the pic. Could any ones expert judgment guess to what offset and wheel width he might be running? the tire sizes are 285/35 18 rears and 255/35 18 front. I really like how the fronts are tucked in a little so you can go nice and low, and how the backs are pretty flush. Gives an aggressive street/drag look in my opinion, which is what I would like. Any help would be great, Thanks!
