What did you use to wash them? Any other chemicals besides soap?

Make sure it's compatible with your wheels. My friend used Mothers wheel polish on his anodized Volks and messed them up.

I'm not sure, but I don't see what else it could be if you only used soap besides that meg's wax.

I would change it but it has become a my350Z.com tradition.

You shouldn't use metal polish on Volks. The lip isn't just polished, it has a clear coat over it. Maybe a dog took a **** on your wheel or something?

i only did it every 3 months and didnt rub very hard, also i heard it was safe.
if the polish caused the decoloring, why did it happen on only 3 wheels and not all?

I would suggest you take them to a reputable wheel repairer to get a second opinion but it looks like the anodized finish has definitely been stripped.

Wait, that's different it if if was there a few days ago. Did you use wax on the three wheels that don't have the hue and not on the one that still shows it. The wax may have coated the finish?

Maybe retry washing one of the wheels with soap and water and see how that turns out.
