Default How do I know which size tuner lugs I need?

How do I know which size tuner lugs to order for my wheels? Does the Z use a specific length/size or is it determined by the wheel?

pretty much universal, but some are wider than others.

I would recommend extended open...not the best look IMO but they will decrease the chances of scrathing your wheel, both around the base of the rim and around the lug nut

I often wondered why most lug nuts dont have dimensional specs given......

Gorilla is the only one to do so from what i have seen.......see the "wheel spacer sticky thread - POST 16:
https://my350z.com/forum/7149699-post16.html

when ordering "tuner" lugs, as in flashy oh la, la lug nuts your not gonna get any better then the correct thread pitch and diameter listing........

the Z uses M12x1.25 and really thats all you need-other info, is that the taper angle is 60 degree's but that in itself is hardly ever listed.

if you are wanting to know "whats needed" then remove one lug nut and measure your current stock lug nut thread protrusion and count the number of threads that are engaged inside the lug nut and from there you can gain a minimum length and work from there.

in the "wheel spacer sticky thread" i list the short lug nuts i use quite often for dealing with spacers....they are only 16.5mm tall:

I use those on my spacers, but outside common to the wheel, i use gorilla splined lug nuts open ended because i like their thin long key and they are easy to use and hold up great!! i remove lug nuts many many times, due to drift events and track events and have had zero issues with gorilla splined lug nuts.

Extended open with extended studs are the best.

YES - size is dependent on wheels. OEM are 21mm, my Volks require 19mm. You need to find out what fits on your wheels. As Jason pointed out, the other important info is M12x1.25. That along with 21/19/17mm will tell you which ones you need to fit your wheels.
