Tire Choice Confusion for 19" Wheels
I have been trying to find some answers to this but keep getting more and more confused the deeper I get so I thought that maybe posing my questions will get some answers for me.
I am in the process of looking for new tires for my 2008 350Z Grand Touring Roadster.
I have been reading a lot about the the slip light coming on when it shouldnt and making sure that you have the correct outer tire diameter between the front and rear. MY car definitely falls outside of the correct window (read that it was more than 1/2" and less than 1").
My wheels are the following size (not sure on offset values):
F: 19 x 8.5"
R: 19 x 10"
The tires on my car that I am going to replace are:
F: 235/35/19
R: 295/30/19
I definitely want to get narrower tires for the rear wheels (go down to a 285 or 275).
After looking at some recommended tire sizes for 19" wheels, I saw the following 2 options would put me within the offset range that I need:
1:
F: 245/35/19
R: 275/35/19
2:
F: 255/35/19
R: 285/35/19
Which option would work better on the wheels that I have?
I apologize if this question has been asked before. Just very confused on what tire sizes to get since the front and rears would be different from what I currently have on the car (bought car in current configuration).
Thanks!

Those wheels probably have weak offsets, i say u go meaty
245/35-R19 in the front
285/35-R19 in the rear.
This on true tires sizes will have the sidewall complete straight up(no stretch or no bulging)
245/35-R19 in the front
285/35-R19 in the rear.

Are you sure about that? I think you may be measuring from the wrong series size. The Diameter Difference is: 0.64%
Speedometer Difference: 0.645% too slow
That difference is not significant.

Thanks for all the help guys. Sorry it took so long for a reply. I was in hospital and have been going through cancer treatment so havent had much time to think about anything except my health. Now that I am better, I am finally getting around to everything that I was doing before.
Should be getting my car back next week. Going to be selling the tires on my car and getting something else. The Toyo R888s that came with my car arent good for daily driving. I have 235/25r19 in the front and 295/30r19 in the rear.
