Ok i just got an update from Rick.. & i hope this is it... Monday-Wednesday next week, the wheels will be out from the US custom.. he quoted that from Work...

Don't get your hopes up until you get a solid tracking number from Rick. I'm sure most of us heard of that US custom things a million times. I know i heard it about 10-15 times.

GQ - You and blackheart waited the longest (wheels and/or refund)... what's the status on your refund?
You rolling up to Rick's shop to have a heart to heart talk with him? Hopefully resolving this on going problem with either refund or a set of wheels he have in stock?

I have request a refund on August 2010 because it was taking to long to get the Rims and so I decided to buy my friends HRE rims. Rick agreed to process the refund and said he will send it to my PayPal in December. I called in December and Rick said he will process the refund in my PayPal within one week.

Called on January, Rick is still waiting for "Works" to process the refund and sent it to my PayPal within one week and stated "I will call you before i sent the money."

Called again same month for the same thing.

Called on February, still same excuse. But someone from Status is aware of the issue, but they said Rick should take care of it.

Called on March, Yet again same excuse. Status is aware of the issue.

Now its April, called can't get a hold of Rick, Status is aware of the issue.


Sucks to be me and Blackheart.

Wayne, you waiting on only Venaci's? How many sets?

Man, i know the connections you have and the people you know in this scene all over the US, and if your worried about the wheels then these guys prob need to start considering kicking this damn deal up a notch, lol.

Anyone know how to file a lawsuit in the matter? I just want to look into it... And if anyone is interested in claiming together. I'm getting really sick and tired of this... He is a great guy but it's the business that is killin us

My lawyer friend has her own firm and I'll see if we got a good case on our hands.

only thing about a law suit is most attornies want 33.33% of anything recovered, also most attornies require a retainer and that is more up front out of pocket in advance, usually attornies find a settlement a quicker solution and easier solution for both parties, and a settlement means ( less than ) , lastly these things can drag on as well

not trying to discourage you , just going from past experience , i have sued and been sued

even if a judge says you win, it has nothing to do with collecting

It's tough times. Most people don't do stuff like this intentionally, they just get themselves into a bad spot & don't (or can't) always handle it the way that they should.

I hope the wheel issue with everyone involved isn't premeditated.

With that said I'm thinking Rick will come through for everyone but that's easy for me to say b/c I'm not affected by this.

Wish everyone luck with the agonizing wait y'all are going through.

I really hope that he can pull through.

He verified that my wheels are still suppose to be here early may yesterday. I'll keep you guys updated.

I honestly do not think he is purposely trying to doing this to you or anyone. Simplely not good business. He is at the mercy of the wheel company and/or distributor. Rick knows the bad press he is getting from all of this, i talked to him about this thread a couple weeks ago when i saw him, and i'll probably be seeing him in the next day or so.. He is doing what he can to remedy this... there are things in the manfacturing side that if you heard it (i'm not at liberty to disclose those things) you would be pissed too, but from Rick's POV of how he's getting it from both sides, in some cases his hands are tied.
