Default 245/45r18 In Front??? PLease Help

Hello
I have a 07 and the stock sizes are

225/45/18 F
245/45/18 R

I was wondering if i can move the 245/45 to the front and get 255/45 for the rear.(got a good deal for them ) For a beefier look. Let me know if that will be safe to do. I need to change my 2 front tires and rather then gettin 2 (225's) i figured i move my rear ones to the front and get 255 for the back.

Let me know if this is safe to do. Thank you in advance

Yeah, you can easily. I'd go with a 40 profile though...

Wait- those aren't stock sizes... mine had 245 and 275 before I took the OEM wheels off I thought...

And to answer your question... you would need a 245/40/18 to keep it within specs.

Damn, surprises me. I only had them for 1,500 miles. My fault OP.

If I were you i'd go 245/40/18 and 275/40/18. But if you got a deal on the 255's that's better than stock.

I understand I would need a 245/40 to be In spec but if I put my rear ones up front which are 245/45 what can happen? Any risk? Trans/suspension issues? ODO being off?

It's going to look like ****. I had 45 series on my s14 (17's)... and it looked awful, AND that's the proper size...

I believe it will throw off odometer and speed slightly. Not sure on that, but i've read it on here before when people wanted to run 40 series on a 19".

I did it on my 06. And it looks a little too beefy. Buy a set of 245/40s. It defintely handles different now.

I have 285 40 19 on my back. Was a bad choice. Wish I went to a 30-35
