Default Would 35 series profiles work on stock rears?

I have 07 stock 18s. I can get a good deal on two 255/35/18 Bridgestone RE050As. Would this work if I move my 245/40s that are in the rear to the front. Im riding on stock suspension.

Yes, it will work.

It will look funny, mind you.

Almost any profile with work, the trick is in matching it to a width that produces the same approximate OD as your OEM tire was.

I was going by the usual drop from front to rear like the stockers go from a 45 to a 40. Would this not look the about the same with 40 up front and 35 in the rear?

Front tires are taller than rear.

VDC will have a strong dislike of it.

I dunno what stockers you have, but the OEM tire size last I checked is 225/245 45 r18

Do you have VDC? If so, it will not be happy since the front is 3/4" taller.

I have another pair of those 255 RE050As though, if you want to make 4.

Never mind. I thought this was important. Important enough to say “thanks” or simply reply.
