Default Will 275/40/R19 tires fit in back?

I accidentally ordered a set of 275/40 tires for the back of my factory 07 Nismo and although I'm not opposed to beefy tires, I want to know if these will fit or if I'll have to deal with rubbing everywhere.

I've searched and cannot find any thread about this, but I did find individuals running 285/35 tires in back. Granted, the tires I ordered will be about 11mm larger sidewall heights than these.

Does anyone have input? I can still change my order so I might just do that.

All depends on the width of the tire and size of wheel.

Agree. It's all about proprtionality. After all, the "35" or "40" is just a proportion (percentage) of the tire width. And for whatever it's worth, 285/35/19 is very close to the outer diameter of the stock tires, while 275/40 is about 20mm larger in diameter, which will throw off your odometer and speedometer readings as a minimum.

like others said before, All depends on the width of the tire and size of wheel. you cant really lower it a lot with a 40 series tire.

Yeah, 40's a bit tall. The 285/35's are a better size.
