I didn't take many pic's yet, she's a little dirty.

Upgraded to the newer front bumper, HID headlights, and LED tail lights. AEM cold air, and a Nismo S Tune Exhaust(which sounds amazing).

Default Ok, I think I got it

After using some of the online diameter calculators some of you have provided the answer became pretty obvious.

I think the previous owner was trying to make the height of the tires the same all around. I was not aware that wider tires have an increased height. Now, it totally makes sense. Except for in my case the previous owner would have had to put 285/30/20 on the rear instead of 275/30/20 to keep the same height as the 245/35/20 in the front.

I'm guessing that he went with the 275 in the rear to save money, 285 and up are pretty pricey.

He should have gone with the 285 in the rear, on a 10" rim with a 4.5" lip a 275 just looks like its not wide enough.

Initially I was taller in the front (with the 245/35/20 F and 275/30/20 R) by about .3".

I just ordered a pair of Falken F452 285/30/20, $211/each Onlinetires.com. These with 100% tread, should have a small enough height stagger to not trip my VDC or slip(front only have 60% tread), 245/35/20 and 285/30/20 should be equal in total diameter with 100% tread, I have my fingers crossed.

Thank for all your help. I will post some before and after close up photos once I get the new 285's.

Tires are essentially the same circumference. Let us know how this works out with VDC.

Absolutely. I'll post before and after photos too. Axis sells the wheel package with 275/30/20 and 245/35/20, with an option for the 285.

I'm pretty sure they wouldn't sell them if all kinds of people had vdc problems. But we'll see.

Tires will be here next week.

Also, oddly, my current setup has no TPMS sensors, and I don't get any kind of a tire pressure light on the dash, just a "--" for each reading on the CPU guage.

The 285's look perfect. Flush with the lip just like the 265/35/20's in the front.

So far, no problems wit the VDC/Slip. Not even a flash on the dash.
