When I bought my Z it came with a set of 20's on it, which in my opinion ruined the car, but I wanted the car badly enough that for the price I couldn't pass it up knowing that I could eventually put new wheels on it. I have ALWAYS loved the way the Lemans Sunset looks with the stock touring wheels, and a friend of mine has a set that he wants to sell me. Problem is, he painted them black, and I'm not sure how they would look. He lives far enough away that we would have to meet halfway, and I dont want to have him drive out with the wheels just for me to tell him that I didnt like the way they looked on the car. Any opinions on it, or has someone seen a lemans sunset with black touring wheels?

This is my car now, dont mind the ugly *** black mirror, someone snapped off mine in the parking lot, its fixed now.

Thanks.. I had looked through them but I never saw one with just the stock wheels painted black. I might just have to find someone who's decent at photoshop or buy the wheels and just deal with it if I don't like it.

 

I think it would look good. It would match the trim around the windows/if you have the windows tinted, etc.

If you didnt like it, you could always have the paint removed and paint or PC them a different color, too.

 

IMO BLACK WHEELS ON YOUR CAR WOULD NOT LOOK GOOD.
If its a good deal,I'd buy the wheels and repaint e'm gunmetal.

 

what's the price?

 

1) I kinda like the look of black rims on that color.
2) You can always repaint them.
