What's your point? The size the OP stated were way off. (see Davidv's chart). A 305/30/19 is actually thinner then the stock 265/35/19. The OP asked for advice and I gave it to him. My advice was if he wanted beefier tires. But wanted to stay close to a stock ratio.
How is someone giving advice on a subject they are confused about helpful in any way? You're still missing it...the aspect ratio measures the ratio of sidewall height to width. A wider tire with the same aspect ratio will result in a wider sidewall and taller diameter.

Who's confused here? You are absolutely correct but when did I every say differently? Like I stated, a 305/30/19 has a SMALLER side wall than the stock 265/35/19 and he wanted to go with a 265/40/18 up front, causing his front wheels/tires (as a whole) to be taller then the rears. I have a great idea, since you are the expert here, how about you give him some of your advice? I'm sure we ALL could learn so much from you!
