Default Smallest winter rim available?

I've been looking into getting a set of snows, but 18s are WAY to pricey, and hard to find much available. I was looking at 17s, and even they arent cheap, will any 16s fit, and what size tire? Tirerack and the rest of them have no winter packages available yet, so its hard to get the basic info on size and clearance.

Thanks, Hall

Default 17 inches

The good thing about 17 inch rims is you can get stock 17 inch rims fairly cheap and the car will still look nice w/ the snows on.

Just my $0.02

The spare tire is 16" and I am running 16" rims with studded snow tires. Does not look that good, but only cost around $550 for rims & tires X4.

16" 215 winter tires. Works great in the snow. Cheap to, I purchased the whole setup (with tax) for $1K Cdn at an Infinity dealership. Setup was meant for a G35 auto coupe.

17x7 wheels will work. What size tire? Check of the several charts above. This late in the season I’m sure you know that snow tires may be tough to find.
