Question Need help on pricing of used Volk LE37 w/Toyo proxes

Hey guys, need some help on figuring out what kind of a deal I am getting.

I am going to be purchasing some volk LE37's off a buddy of mine and it seems like it's a fairly good deal. Just curious what the wheels would go for?

Now since i've never owned any volk or other wheels other than the oem stock wheels, I have no experience in these matters. The wheels are in great shape with only small chips from driving, no curb rash whatsoever. Polished lip with the gunmetal face. Tires aren't new but they still have plenty of tread.

The wheel setup is...

19x9.5 +22mm
19x10.5 +35mm
5x114.3

He is also throwing in the tires with these wheels...

Toyo Proxes R888
(from the one place i quickly checked while at work, retail prices below)
235/35/19 - retail from 240-300$ Each
295/30/19 - retail from 311-470$ Each

He wants 1,600$ for everything.

Is this a steal of a deal or is this something that should be expected?

Sorry I know it would help if i added pictures but i just dont have any at the moment. I've only seen these in person and dont have any pictures of these. (update-pictue below)

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks guys!

Great! Thanks for the input.

Ya the wheels are in great shape. They were only used on the track a handful of times and thats it. Pretty much brand new before that.

Not a bad deal. However, the offsets in the rear will need help to look
good. Will need spacers.Thats a wide rear wheel.Did you get to see what they
looked like on your buddy's car?I'd test fit and go from there. It all depends
how flush you want to be.

that's a steal if the wheels are good...meaning they aren't warped or anything funny like that!

That is pretty good but the offsets do suck. I think you would be fine with 15mm spacers in the rear and nothing in the front. But im also thinking the lip in the rear will be smaller than in front due to that weak offset, if so it will look

I haven't been able to see it on his car. He just mentioned it to me out of nowhere and luckily i just happened to have some nice christmas bonus cash to pry them from him.

I have a stock setup right now.

Would you happen to know the spacer size i would need?

Good thing is i'll have my oem wheels to use until i figure out the fitment.

Like i said i've got no experience in this sort of thing but thats why i'm on this forum to learn this stuff.

Thanks for the input!

Well this isn't the news I hoped for but I do appreciate the help.

Anybody that may have first hand experience in these offset's please do lend me your thoughts?

I would jump on that deal. Like another guy said, 15mm spacer in the back and you will be sorta flush depending on how low you are. A ton of people run 9.5/10.5 with 22 offset.

Whats your suspension setup?

Why dont you just go check them out in person? Measure the lip front n rear and if they are same or very close then buy them. As long as the front lip isnt noticably bigger in the front you are good. Although, Judging by the pic you provided, looks like the rear is on the left and looks like it has a shallower lip from what i can see.

Oh yeah just thought of this.... The spokes on the +22 may also be more concave then on the +35. id go and test fit them and take a good long look from multiple angles, this will prob be a problem without 15mm spacers to get a good sense of how it will really look.

Such a good price tho....
