Default Where do I get iforged aeros?

Well I am looking for new rims for the new Z and these are really catching my eye.

Soo I am looking at ( 19x8 + 18 ) and ( 19x10 + 29)

Riding on 245/35/19 and 285/35/19 dropped on Nismo S tuned suspension, will this require any rolling of the fenders? Will any rubbing happen?

And the big question, where do I even get these? The other big question, how much are they?

BTW, silver with a polished lip ( not even sure if there are other options but thats what I want. )

Also, pictures? Perhaps on a SB Z if anyone has them?

I am just trying to be different this time around, no more silver Z and no more te37's ( at least I think ). Not that anything wrong at all with either of them, I got them the first time around!

I dropped my car with eibach springs and 19x8 +21 and 19x10 +28 iforged, but am running 275/35s rear, and have no rubbing and plenty of room to spare, so the 285s should work fine too.

(my sig pic is not updated with the lowering)

Do you have any pictures that show how far in or out the tires stick from the fender? I want to find out exactly what offsets to get to is is absolutly even with the fender.

Then again I am still considering 3 piece OZ superleggeras, and still te37s.. Hmm maybe le37t's too..

I have the Iforged Aero's in 20's. THey are 9" in the front and 10.5" in the back. I would post a pic, but don't know how to. If you give me instructions, I will post a pic. Or pm me, and I will email them to you. The rear has a 4" lip and the front is 2.5 ". I boought them from www.wheelsboutique.com. They were in stock so I had them in 3 days, no waiting. I think that the guy was operator 221.

Before you order form Iforged, I would do a thorough search of this forum and others (BMW, Audi). It seems to be a real crap shoot whether or not you get decent service and wheels, or horrible service and wheels with flaws. If you're open to other types of wheels, I'd skip Iforged. They're not worth the chance.

In spite of dozens of posts about their lack of communication, poor service, clearcoat problems, bad welds, etc., there are those who had a good experience and will, for some strange reason, defend Iforged in the face of these unnacceptable business practices. Iforged is inconsistent at best, and despicable at their worst. Do your homework, and then decide.

you can also find iforged wheels right here in the classifieds. There is nothing wrong with the quality, and if you find someone selling them, you don't have to wait 2 months.

I think if you'll check, you'll find that there HAVE been many quality issues with Iforged wheels.....issues that range from peeling clearcoat to poor welds that would not allow the tire to hold air. I'm sure there are many sets that are flawless as well. However, I just saw a post showing many proud photos of a set of polished Aeros, and the uniformity of the polish was......well.....let's just say that if they were my wheels, I think I'd be pretty disappointed.

With so many reliable wheels companies and beautiful high quality wheels available in the same price range, IMHO Iforged is not worth even considering.

ZZtopp - i think you're right, however the key is dealing with a reputable iForged dealer... I also purchased my IForged wheels from wheelsboutique and offer nothing but praise for their service.
they told me 4 to 5 weeks and i got them in 4-1/2... i checked around and compared their prices compared to other dealers, and they beat them hands down... and ultimately, if anything ever goes wrong with the wheels I'll know where to take them back to...(luckily they are right by my office)
mine are Swifts, 20x10 r and 20x8.5 f chrome all around and they are perfect in every way - no complaints from me...

Consider this... just because our Z's have had some issues, have we all given up and bought RX-8's?? HELL NO!

BINGO, that was a very good move by iForged to go through dealers now instead of doing thier own thing. btw, Intro (the company that builds iForged) also builds wheels for a bunch of other companies, DTM, Axis (the $1500 3 piece se7en), and many others. Speedway does the finishing and painting/clear, and they also do it for HRE and Kenesis, another good move and direction for iForged. This will help thier quality.

Unfortunately, their track record is horrid and regardless of who their front man now is, I don't think all their wheels will suddenly be delivered in a timely matter and free of any problems. If by some miracle they are, it's a pretty good indication of the lack of respect and consideration they have had for their individual customers.

We've been through all this before, and I was just warning a potential customer to do some checking before committing to what could be a bad purchase. If I just HAD to have Iforged wheels, I'd make them sign something to the effect that if the wheels were not delivered exactly on time and with flawless workmanship, then the entire puchase price would be refunded immediately. If they would agree to it, you're covered. If they wouldn't, 'nuff said.
